Bike: Much of the biking will be on trails and roads. Due to the varied terrain, mountain bikes are recommended; however, gravel bikes are an option depending on your skill level
Obstacles: This course is challenging, with natural obstacles along the way. Be prepared to carry your bike portions of the route, as well as hike technical terrain
Navigation: Participants will be provided with maps prior to the start of the race. You are required to bring a compass; however, orienteering skills are not necessary to participate, as you will be led to each transition point by trail markings, predominantly in the form of ribbons along the defined route
This race will be based at the 40-acre private estate known as Mohawk Falls. Race check-in, start, finish, and post-race festivities will take place at this venue. This site boasts a one-of-a-kind post-and-beam pavilion, as well as well as reasonably-priced camping sites for your convenience and enjoyment. Consider camping two nights for a full weekend experience. You'll LOVE this place!
